Early in 2002 I left my job as a Food Development Technologist to follow my passion for fitness and become qualified as a personal trainer, I had no idea it would lead my learning and education for the next 20 years. I continue to build my knowledge.
Over the years I’ve focused my expertise on Women’s health and fitness and the changes the body goes through during and after pregnancy, and then to the menopause and beyond. I want to help keep women moving freely, feeling strong, balanced, confident and happy in their own skin.
It was my own experiences following the birth of my second child in 2005 that started me on the path of learning the full importance of pelvic floor and diastasis healing… and realising my existing qualification in postnatal exercise wasn’t really cutting it!
I discovered the Holistic Core Restore® programme and became a coach in January 2014. I know if this knowledge had been available to me in 2003 I could have avoided the problems I went through with my own pelvic health. This is why it is so important to share the information and lifetime strategies that teach women safe exercise and help them avoid or improve issues with prolapse, stress incontinence, lower back pain and Diastasis Recti.
It can feel confusing and scary at times when you are living with a prolapse, wanting to return to exercise after surgery or are feeling drained with menopause symptoms (I know because I have been there on all counts) but it is possible and I would love to help you get back to feeling yourself or an even better version.
